Parent and Child
Parents and children 6 mos – 3 yrs become comfortable in the water so they are willing and ready to learn to swim.
Level 1 (pre-school & school-age)
Helps children to feel comfortable in the water and enjoy the water safely.
Builds on skills learned in Level 1 and gives children success with fundamental skills such as floating and basic locomotion.
Beginning of stroke development, utilizing horizontal arm & leg action, and builds on skills learned in Level 2.
Stroke Improvement—Develops confidence in the skills previously learned and improves other aquatic skills.
Provides further coordination and refinement of strokes.
Refines stroke technique and helps to build endurance.
